So I made a post recently asking for advice on a first stick and after loads of great info from @Darksakul and a link to a cheap brawlstick on ebay from @ChaoticMonk I bought it and am overall happy with it.
When I first plugged it into the pc I couldn't assign any buttons to emulators(it kept crashing the program) after a lot of messing around I discovered the yellow button was faulty and had been rapidly sending a signal without being pressed. So I opened it up and disconnected the faulty button and switched it with one from the far right as I dont use them. After that it was working properly.
My only problem is the joystick feels like crap, upper diagonals need to be slammed to register and the square gate isnt for me. So I'm looking to order a sanwa JLF. My question it do I need a specific model to fit the brawlstick. I remember reading somewhere that you need one with the pcb rotated 90° to fit, is this right? If so what would be the correct model to get?
