Xbox360 Brawlstick >PS3 SFxT Fightstick

I was unable to find this specifically in a search but I have a PS3 SFxT stick that is gathering dust as I sold my PS3 quite a while back. I have a xbox 360 brawl stick I use frequently. I found a lot of Xbox>PS3 dual mods but no PS3>Xbox360 mods.

Is there any issue with taking the guts out of the 360 controller to put in the PS3 SFxT stick case?
And if so is there anything I should be aware of.
