[Help] PCB to make a Hitbox

Hi!
I'm planning to do a hitbox (PC and PS3) and i need some help from the experts here.
I played most of my life with a keyboard and never got really used to a arcade stick.

The PCB's i saw a lot of people using was Dual Strike and ps360+ but they are a little expensive.
After some search i saw the ZD Arcade Control Enconder and is only 13$.
The main problem are the SOCD. I don't know either if there are any issues pressing down+up or left+right. Or will I need an SODC cleaner?
