I ordered a new JAMMA harness and hooked it up today, and to save money and time (I do not own a molex crimper or know where to find molex connectors) I simply cut the wires of the old JAMMA harness, and used crimped butts (tubes with a part to crimp in the middle) to connect them. After doing this, I turn it on, everything gets power, (monitor, board, etc) but I get no signal to the monitor, period. I've tried redoing my wiring, but it doesn't work. I've checked, double checked, and triple checked to make sure the right wires are connected to the right wires. Here are the pictures if anyone can help me!
This is a weird molex connector that is still on it. Can someone tell me what the purpose of the brown wire is? I noticed a loose one like this in my JAMMA package.

This is the end molex connector (that goes to the monitor), it has one more wire than it has at the JAMMA hook up that starts from the above pictures "weird molex" connector.

The ends are the same old same old rgb and sync as it was on the older JAMMA harness. I'm really at my wits end! Any help would be great!
