Any Link shaft tweaks

I already emailed Phreakmods but I wanted to see if anyone has some homebrew tweaks, so here's my situation. (Copied the email)

I recently installed the Link in my Qanba Q4RAF and overall I'm really happy with it, but I I was wondering if there are any tweaks you can recommend when it comes to the couple millimeters of shaft play.

To be more specific when I leave the inner dust washer in I do feel some resistance and it feels like my general inputs and the directional button "clicks" feel slower. When I took the dust washer out the response was a lot quicker but the stick is really loose. Any bump to the stick, or even the case/buttons and it will register on the stick.

Now in both cases there is the same amount of play. I did try taping up the actuator but it didn't seem to help. (Not enough tape?)

My Qanba is new with only two weeks casual play on it, but along with the Link I also installed an octo gate, a 2lb spring, and I swap between a rather heavy aluminum billet battop and a standard plastic balltop.

Thanks for any inputs (No Pun intended) on the matter.
