I've been using a MvC1 TE stick for about 2 years, and I think it's time to invest in a new stick. Now, going into training mode for SF4, I always seem to have some extra inputs when I do motions (DPs mostly). The motions still come out, so that's good, but I wanted to get rid of the extra inputs as much as possible, which is why this thread was created.
The first thing I researched were Seimitsu sticks. On paper, it seems like Seimitsus would be exactly what I was looking for, but looking further into it via SRK threads and YouTube, I'm not convinced. Some SRK users have stated how Seimitsu sticks are not as useful for fighters because they aren't as loose as Sanwa sticks.

This video makes it seem like fireball motions are a lot more difficult than exact. Also in that video, he talks about how he used a octagonal gate with the Sanwa stick and that got me thinking about how that might what I be looking for. When researching gates, the major opinions seem to be that square gates are the way to go because octo gates are more restrictive.
I understand that it all comes down to preference, but I don't have the money to spend it on testing parts. I don't have the modding skills either to risk messing with it lol.
Overall, I can use a Sanwa stick just fine, but I was just wondering if there was a way of getting rid of those extra inputs.
