Hori Dead or Alive 5 Fightstick mod help?

I am fairly new to the Fighting Game scene and have been playing for a few weeks now.I have been trying to youtube modding videos and google search anything on how to mod a Dead or Alive 5 fighstick made by Hori but am having no luck in finding any step by step tutorial on doing so. Does anyone on here know how to mod it? What I was planning on doing was probably switch out the buttons and joystick. if anyone can tell me what kind of button it has and what size?
